Nestled on the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean just north of San Diego, UC San Diego is known as one of the most attractive and livable campuses in the country. Just over 25,000 students are spread across UC San Diego’s 1,200 wooded acres. With near-perfect weather year-round and boundless recreational activities to choose from, San Diego truly lives up to its motto of “America’s Finest City.”

The UCSD Athletics Facilities are known throughout the nation for their
quality playing surfaces and architectural beauty. The facilities include:


RIMAC Arena – A 5,000-seat arena that is home to the UCSD basketball and volleyball teams. Five full size courts are available inside the main arena area, along with two additional full courts in the auxiliary gym. Additionally, a 12,000 square foot weight room is available in RIMAC.

Triton Track & Field Stadium – A nine-lane track surface along with a world-renowned throwing facility, spacious locker rooms and a weight room. Large grass fields and a eucalyptus forest with trails surround the stadium providing endless possibilities for training.
This facility is home to the UCSD track & field teams, and the Triton cross country squads.

Canyonview Aquatic Center – The Canyonview Aquatics Center features two outdoor, Olympic-Size Pools, each of which can be divided into 8 lanes of 50 meters in length or 19 lanes of 25 yards in length. A brand new weight room was opened in February after the construction of the West Pool was completed. Canyonview is home to the UCSD water polo teams, as well as the swimming & diving teams.

RIMAC Fields – The RIMAC Fields are home to the UCSD men's and wome's soccer teams along with the Triton softball squad. Located just north of RIMAC Arena, the large open fields can accomodate up to five soccer fields and one softball diamond at the same time.

Triton Baseball Stadium – The UC San Diego Baseball Stadium playing surface is one of the premiere fields in all of San Diego County. The facility is located on the east side of campus off of Voigt Drive, across the street from Scripps Memorial Hospital. The outfield fence is 330’ down the foul lines and 400’ to straight-away center field.

Northview Tennis Courts – The Northview Tennis Courts are home to the UCSD tennis teams and features eight lighted courts with bleacher seating around Court #1. The playing surface was re-done and is now considered to be among the very best in southern California.

Coggeshall BoathouseThe UC San Diego rowing teams call San Diego Mission Bay home for all workouts and regattas. Consisting of 4,600 acres, the "World's Finest Aquatic Playground" is a rowers paradise.
